I think Ziegler agrees with you, but holds judgement against mrs. DeSantis for her own outsized ambitions for her husband. Ziegler thought her “vicious”. Yikes.

I feel bad now that efforts to remake him were even attempted. He makes a very fine governor, just not special at presidential level campaigning. Way too much scrutiny for normies like him. Hopefully, he can continue to make a greatgovernor in Florida and he and the Mrs will be content.
