I believe in merit. Period.
I am sick of people whining that they deserve equal this and equal that. Nobody deserves anything but what is in the Bill of Rights. If you want it, you work for it.
That includes food, clothing, shelter, etc. No one is entitled to some other hard worker’s money, just because they aren’t willing to work.
But, until we as a nation figure out how to wean the “gibmedat” crowd off the entitlement mentality, we are doomed to fail. And, dont get me started on the handouts to the illegals!
