Agree 100%. America has GOT to get over its obsession with "fads" and with being "trendy". No more "we HAVE to have a black", "We HAVE to have a woman", "We HAVE to have some other minority", etc. YES!!!!!! Something akin to that was starting to congeal in my mind but you said it best!!!
