Research on deadly viruses is necessary in order to understand the risk and to come up with countermeasures.
Have you ever heard of USAMRIID? That is the US Army Research Institute of Infectious Disease. One of its missions is to research those highly deadly viruses. People wear space suits and work in containment labs with these viruses. They work with Ebola, Marburg, hantavirus, monkeypox virus, and various encephalitis viruses.
How bad of a problem do you think rabies would be if it weren't for researchers who were willing to risk their lives to study it? We don't think of rabies much, since we vaccinate animals against it and we have an effective prophylactic treatment for people with known or suspected exposures. But rabies, if you are exposed and start to show symptoms, is 100% fatal.
FYI, Chinese labs that work with deadly viruses use the same precautions as US, Canadian, and European labs that work with them. They are called "biosafety labs."
Time to send China a clear message. “The U.S. will consider any virus originating in China labs and released into the U.S. an act of war; U.S. military/nuclear retaliation will follow.”

People should also realize that it is not impossible to target viruses to specific receptor and protein variants that are race-specific - or at least race-preferential. This is already being done with plant pathogens, and there have been reports that this is also a target of some bioweapon programs.
We look back at ‘thumbs up or thumbs down’ in the Roman Coliseum as barbaric, but they didn't kill the millions that actions like these can.
Not quite 100%. The Milwaukee protocol has shown some success in treating symptomatic rabies infection. A few dozen people have survived rabies.
It doesn't work all the time, but if I were bit and started to show symptoms, I'd give it a go!
FYI, calling a Chinese facility a "biosafety lab" Doesn't make it safe.

Humans are the only specie “Intelligent” enough to self destruct and they are hell bent on proving the point.
If ever a big ole bomb turning this lab into pixie dust was needed, it would be right now.
All of these labs are essentially “weapons of mass destruction” and as such should be bombed out of existence. The WEF ruling elite are in the wings waiting for their anti-dote to be found before releasing it on the “deplorables”.
I still believe the Chinese are looking for a bio weapon that will target all except Chinese.

So, if someone in China prepares and cooks an infected pangolin and gets the infection as a result, they might become too sick too quickly to pass the virus on to others.
