JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – An investigation by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office led to the arrest of a 61-year-old man on Friday and he was charged with second-degree murder after an altercation on North Main Street in December.
Earl Leroy Coleman was quickly identified as the suspect and he was arrested on Friday with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Task Force.
At approximately 8:30 PM on Dec. 23, JSO patrol officers responded to a local hospital’s reference to a person who had been shot. The victim, 23-year-old Martiaz McGruder later died in the hospital.
Officers located a crime scene at the 4000 block of North Main Street, where they learned that there was an altercation that began inside a business and went into the parking lot where the victim was shot. Several subjects have been detained to determine their involvement with the incident.

Strip joints and peep shows are long gone. Now replaced by pawn shops, quick loan businesses and the always obligatory liquor stores.
Vape Shops and Hair Weave Extension stores.
Add “Leroy” to the list of problematic middle names. Lee and Wayne head the list.
Every Democrat controlled city is the same: pawn shops, quick loan businesses, liquor stores, 2nd hand stores and now add nail salons, marijuana stores and tattoo parlors.
You could take all the residents of one city and, like a Star Trek transporter, move them en masse to another Democrat controlled city and they would hardly even notice the change and would function in their stupefied daily lives as if nothing had happened.
Liberalism is the destruction of everything it touches or controls.
The ‘Liberal Paradise’ does not exist, not in this world or any other. It cannot exist because, by definition, it destroys itself upon creation.
Every promise of Liberalism is as empty as the heads it came out of. They preach ‘Diversity’ but demand conformity. They prate about ‘Inclusion’ then exclude every nonconformer. They scream ‘Equity’ then set about to create the most inequality they can.
Of late it has become fashionable in Liberal circles to bandy about the initials of their doctrine, in hopes of normalizing minds to the effects of their evil intentions to pacify the masses through the media: DEI! DEI! DEI! WE MUST HAVE DEI! they cry, like savages chanting a paroxysm of their formula to awaken the power of their idol.
And an ‘idol’ it is , for the very letters of their supplication spell the ancient Latin word for GOD.................................

Back in the 1990’s I had a job as a courier delivering and picking up packages all over Jacksonville. I had been driving for about a year when I had my first delivery in North Main Street, Jax. I was shocked. A few years earlier I was fixing appliances in Philadelphia, after getting out of the Navy, and I did jobs in West Philly and Camden, NJ so I knew how bad things can get in urban areas but I was unprepared for something like that in Jax. There are other ghetto areas in Jacksonville but North Main Street is as bad as it gets...
Sounds like a turn for the worse...
