I predicted this many years ago when computer modeling was in it’s infancy and the 386 was the top dog.

I predicted it when the first video tape recording was announced. Up until the advent of electronic recording TV was live, I figured if the recording could be stored on magnetic tape well then images could be created by electronic signals. Bear in mind this was well before computers were even thought of in our culture.

I remember my first encounter with a videotape machine in the military.

It was HUGE. It was about the size of a large Samsonite suitcase and took up nearly all the top of a military sized office desk.

I forget what type it was, circa 1973-74. I don’t think it was VHS or Beta, but something unique to the military................
