Critical Airspace Warning: Extreme Radiation Hazard at Kwajalein Atoll #image_title A Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) has been issued for Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands, warning of a severe radiation hazard. The airspace north of the airport’s runway should be avoided at all costs, as it poses significant risks to life. In order to mitigate these dangers, all flights are directed to utilize southern approach and departure routes instead. This information has been provided by the International Civil Aviation Organization.
I believe that there are some pretty bad chemicals buried there, but radioactive waste? Could be, and given that our gubmit has fully exposed the depth of its corruption, not particularly hard to believe.
Yeah, not buying the radiation claim but I do buy that they want to hide something going on there. I don’t blame the FAA, they are generally straight shooters, but the information given to them by some government person or agency is always suspect.
From my chair, there’s something there that they don’t want anyone to see
Maybe there isn’t a radiation hazard at all, but something is on the surface, out in the open they don’t want anyone to see.
Upcoming U.S. ICBM test with Kwajalein Atoll as target. Dummy warhead.
And people are worried about Fukushima!
Someone left the popcorn in the microwave to long!
This administration is a big respecter of laws and treaties...
Enter Godzilla in 3..2..1
It appears legit but it certainly isn’t getting much coverage. Surely something the propaganda news isn’t wanting anyone to know about.
Soundslike a possible place for a palesavage state.....
I read that and i could smell it as i did
The other thought I had is some kind of radar or other device that emits radio waves, very powerful waves. Russian pilots were forbidden from turning on the radars in their mig 25s because they could cook a rabbit at 1km.
I wonder if the radiation is radio frequency, that the emissions are controlled. There are two powerful radars on Kwaj. Overflight of the Millstone Hill radar in Westford Massachusetts is prohibited, not because of radiation burns, but the radar is so powerful that it can damage electronics on aircraft. The PAVE PAWS radar at Warner-Robins in Georgia (since moved to Clear, Alaska) routinely illuminated aircraft taking off and landing with fields that exceed safe Electro-Explosive Ordinance limits, until someone realized it was happening. EEO are used in ejection seats. They operated for a while by briefly shutting down the radar when there was a chance an aircraft would fly too close to the near-field beam.
Damn .gov websites. Using the above link, search for KZAK, then A5483.
Highly unlikely. The atoll has been continuously inhabited for centuries. People were evacuated from Bikini.
Radar testing sometimes requires transmitting high-power pulses upward to avoid ground level EMI or worse.
Maybe the USS Pennsylvania or the Prinz Eugen washed up on the beach.
It’s a promotion for the series on Apple TV.
