I've been anti-Catholic ever since I found out about them sending their pedophile priests to Alaska, where they raped their way across the Alaska Native villages in our state. So they've been on my don't donate/don't patronize list for decades now. Their importation of unvetted Afghan "refugees" to Alaska is just the latest transgression that absolutely disgusts me about that outfit.
Only 2.5% of priests were ever credibly accused or found guilty of molestation over a 50 yr. period, per the NYT in 2002. That investigation involved 100,000 priests, which means 2500 were problem priests with an attraction to young adolescent males 85% of the time, meaning they’re weren’t really pedophiles, they were “gay.” Studies show that 10% of Protestant clergy and 10% of teachers were likewise accused of molesting minors. Do you hold the same animus toward them, or is your outrage selective?
