Except KAB isn’t racist, as he wrote. A few seconds of searching would explain that.
But…people are so quick to get be angered that no one actually tries to find a truth.

What in Hades does the ownership’s skin color have to do with the quality of the baked goods?!
And when anyone can self-identify as anything these days, why even bother?
My bet is that KAB is in a world of financial hurt, and like a lot of woke companies circling the bowl, think they can dig themselves out of the financial hole they’ve dug for themselves by digging faster.
Good luck with that.
I read what he wrote, I followed the links, and KAB is absolutely involved in racism. KAB is racist.
A few seconds of searching would explain that.
A few minutes of searching damned them to racist hell.
no one actually tries to find a truth.
Contrary to your false assertion, I DID succeed in finding the truth. KAB is racist.
The problem is that anti-white activities are cloaked as “diversity” and opening doors to non-whites.
The way I look at it is I reverse engineer it.
Let us imagine that a basketball camp said “whites only” because whites are “underserved” in basketball and “have not been given a fair opportunity” to be basketball stars because of “decades of discrimination”.
If that were “ok” then I suppose I could live with the opposite.
But—the leftists would be screaming racism and hate about such a camp.
Therefore the opposite becomes just anti-white hate.
"Hi Thomas,
We’re sorry to hear that this doesn’t sit well with you and you feel compelled to go elsewhere.
Helping build joyful, equitable communities that celebrate diversity is an important part of who we are as a company. It's important to acknowledge that underrepresentation of People of Color in the agricultural and food distribution systems is a result of systematic exclusion for many centuries. There are also industry-specific barriers that POC face, including hiring bias, networking and knowledge gaps, lack of access to capital for diverse founders, and more. Baking Pitchfest is a platform that offers People of Color the connections, resources, and access they need to be successful. I hope this explanation provides some insight into the reasons behind this project.
