Tart cherry juice/capsules are both excellent in fending off gout. Or if you start to get a bout you’ll start feeling relief in hours, not days. I take 2 capsules morning and evening. Total 4 a day....Can’t recommend enough and I start adding juice at the first twinge. Economic and effective.
Tart cherry is maybe the most naturally melatonin rich food there is. Pistachios are a close second.

All I had to do was quit drinking beer. Gout gone, even though I continued to drink bourbon for a couple of years.
Gout is dietary. Change your diet. Eliminate the known triggers= No more gout.
Also works for inflammed joints.
