Vanity: How Do I Post One Specific Post Using A Link From One Thread To Another?

For example, I'm reading a thread and see a post that would be useful info to another thread.

Rather than copying and pasting the entire post, how do I create a link for only that post?

I know how to create a link for the entire thread, but not for a single post.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Then hold your finger/mouse over the written post. It’s turns blue. Drag over the post and a menu shows up. Hit copy.

Go to the other thread and hold down on your reply and select paste. Then add your comment, add quotation, etc. and post.

Give attribution to the poster. Don’t want to plagiarize! LOL

I don’t want to create a link for the entire thread, just one post.

Just highlight the post, hold down right mouse button...Copy...Then paste where ever you want it to go...

Sorry about that,,, Yes, the post number it’s self then. and if you are in your personal feed you would click the “post >17< of 19” as an example. That specific post in your account feed would be the 17th post of the original thread.

Thanks! I always forget how to modify the url for a specific post. I never tried right-click on the post number before. Makes sense since it is a link.

On the iPad, press and hold over the post number.

Find the number of the post that you want to post the URL link to (lower left hand side of the post), right click, then choose "copy link address", or the closest text to that (may be different on different browsers).

Paste the copied link into your own post.
