Ever been in a Bass Pro or Cabela’s?
The aquariums are usually stocked with native freshwater pond fish, although I have seen a few with koi in them.
Not in five or ten years. Its a location thing. And, I expected it was to be a freshwater tank, because most of their fishing gear is aimed at freshwater.
The one in Owatonna, MN has some big toothy stuff in it. Tiger Muskie (muskie/pike hybrid) and Pike. The Leeds AL one used to have a monster alligator gar that kind of floated around but was gone some years ago, guess it died.
A Florida man walked out with the live tarpon from the Bass Pro Shop tank in Fort Myers a couple weeks ago. Unlike the fish the man has yet to be caught.
