So........25% of the Jobs Report additional hires were Federal Govt. hires, to keep Unemployment numbers where they want them.

That's 50K+ additional Democrat voters (couple with the millions of Illegals, who vote Democrat, whether THEY submit ballots, or are just used for Mail-in vote identities).

So about 25% of those jobs were government jobs. I wonder how many jobs the US government added in 2023? Given the fact that most government jobs pay exceeds the equivalent private sector jobs and the retirement pay for them blows away the Social Security pay why wouldn’t people opt to work for it?

October was revised down by 45,000

That is a SUBSTANTIAL error.

Bidenomics in action.

The labor force participation rate, at 62.5 percent, and the employment-population ratio, at 60.1 percent, both decreased by 0.3 percentage point in December. These measures showed little or no change over the year.

“US employers add a surprisingly strong 216,000 jobs in a sign of continued economic strength”

AP takes the facts and re-writes them!

WASHINGTON — The nation’s employers added a robust 216,000 jobs last month, the latest sign that the American job market remains resilient even in the face of sharply higher interest rates.

Friday’s report from the Labor Department showed that December’s job gain exceeded the 173,000 that were added in November. The unemployment rate was unchanged at 3.7% — the 23rd straight month that joblessness has remained below 4%.

The latest data reflect an economy and a job market that are decelerating back to pre-pandemic norms. Hiring remains steady, and while employers are posting fewer openings, they are not laying off many workers.

I lost my job in November as a full time IT Project Manager. And now, with all my experience, and hundreds of PM jobs being posted, I can’t get a sniff despite working for a major IT services organization.

Why do you figure that is the case?

“Why do you figure that is the case?”

Well, I want to say it is because of DEI and no one is stepping up to the plate to hire white males to work on million dollar projects. Instead they would rather hire diversity and fail, then blame white males for their own ignorance and racial discrimination.

I have an MBA in IT Management, every Project Management cert available as well as teach level 400 project management. I also have many years of experience as a project manager with my largest project being $40 million.
