I’m not worried about it….
Wish it would hurry it up.
Hunter Biden?
Power distribution grids have overcurrent protection at many levels.
This is the biggest bunch of Horse Hockey I’ve ever read.
While the electric grid is fragile in places currently (no pun intended) there is no reason to believe it will remain so.
All military electrical systems are hardened already and they would provide enough power to get things back up and running.
We need a sun tax.
That might kill a lot of people, perhaps even most people, but it wouldn’t kill everybody. Humans were around long before anyone used electricity.
What a lot of fantasizing by scribbling idiots. People make systems work. While there might be a major disruption recovery wouldn’t take more than six months.
There are a thousand more likely scenarios than the coming ice age (1970s), global warming (1980s), and the catch all which can never be wrong climate change (2010s) being man made and destroying our climate.
The sun can heat up or cool off. The later has occured in history with devastating consequences: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maunder_Minimum
The earth magnetic poles can flip, the magnetic field protecting us can be compromised, stripping away the atmosphere: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geomagnetic_reversal
Or we can get blasted by a meteorite which ends life as we know it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicxulub_crater
The idea that some plastic shopping bag is going to end our existence is self important junk. But like Covid, or a plethora of other faux science issues, it gives politicians something to latch onto, to show action, to show what great leaders in crisis these folks are.
I would put my bet on that when the day comes, it’ll blind side us and be something entirely non man made.
Women and minorities will be the most adversely affected.
texas used to be isolated from the rest of the US electric grid for exactly this kind of reason. But I think a decade or so ago California forced Texas to connect so they could take power they needed.
I’m gonna go with total BS on this one.
“The world began to end on 12th May 2024”
No, that date is November 5th 2024 if Biden steals the election again.
We made it through millions and millions of years without electricity... We can live without it.
I’ll wait to hear about it on Coast to Coast AM.
Maybe it won’t be exactly like this but it would be wise at least to plan for the collapse of the civilization we know. It’s already happening in the cities.
“The Sun Could Wipe Us Out”
So could the moon. And an asteroid as well. Several volcanoes world-wide could erupt at once and cause an actual global cooling that would push the world into a famine. Millions would die. Earthquakes could strike across the globe causing tsunamis and devastation for multiple major cities and in addition block travel and commerce for millions. Many of those millions would die.
There are all types of natural disasters that could strike. However, I do not fear those possibilities near as much as I fear the harm evil government actors could cause as they search for more money, control, and power.
So our science incompetent White House clown show pushes electric cars that use batteries whose production pollutes the third world, charged by an inadequate and vulnerable electric grid, the same grid that’s powered with mostly carbon-based power (and always will be). And those of us with even a mid-century fifth grade science background have long known of the grid’s susceptibility to EMP, which could come from the sun...or nukes. Gads, I hate these guys, and I to pay big bucks to personally witness their execution once the population comes to their senses and does the right thing.
The way that the world is going, God’s wrath is more likely to destroy this planet than any other cause. I think fearing Him is the thing to do.
