The climatic evidence we do have is overwhelming, and it tells us that the climate has been much warmer than now for most of the last 10000 years, since the end of the ice age.

Being warmer gives the World a longer growing season. If colder, food shortages would become apparent with limited food production.
“The climatic evidence we do have is overwhelming, “
The climatic evidence we do have is underwhelming,
There, fixed it
Strange. I just read that china is experiencing a BRUTAL cold winter this year. And from my past years I know heat on the earth radiates off in the winter night sky making the nights very cold.
But we solved that problem from the Coming Ice Age scare!
FROM POPULAR SCIENCE, Feb 1980..

“Do you suppose we can learn enough, soon enough, to pull off a balancing act with the CO2 blanket saving us from another ice age?”

AND WE DID IT! No Ice Age forecasts anymore!
I love charts and graphs. The axes can be stretched or shrunk to make the tiniest of things look dramatic. The last one makes the previous 10,000 years look like dramatic swings but the lowest to highest is only 1 degree C.
I challenge anyone to be able to tell a 1 degree difference in air temperature.
It is of note to see that the warmer periods were the better periods for plants and animals. Only academics seemed to suffer then.

“...the climate has been much warmer than now for most of the last 10000 years, since the end of the ice age.” Since the end of the ice age! Let me repeat that, since the end of the ice age. Do these “scientists” expect the globe to grow colder after an ice age? What causes an ice age to end? Global warming! We’re in the tertiary stage of the ice age, which will last until we enter the next ice age.
Who knows 50? The distinguished number of transcendence.
A: Joseph, because he got there first.
50? The 'climate change' man is already up to 125,000, which has 28 divisors...

Texas was so pleasant this past summer, I was able to be outside until noon. Never had been able to be comfortable that late in the day. People’s water wells didn’t dry up. The news wasn’t constantly pearl clutching over the rivers however they sure were whining about the record breaking temperatures. Hmm, yeah, they must have lost the records for 1980 when it was 115 and 2011 when the rivers did run dry.
You must live in a different part of Texas than me. It was waaaay hotter than normal.
I think people aren't reading this carefully. He's saying that -- rather than the usual "it's the hottest it's ever been, and we're all gonna die" spew -- that most of the current interglacial has been hotter than it is right now; IOW, we're in a cooler period, by interglacial standards.
(Cue Greta Thunberg "how dare you" gif ...)
BTW, the current interglacial is about 10k-13k years old. They last anywhere from 10k to 50k years. Our interglacial "warm period" could end tomorrow.
What was the high temperature in Rome on March 15, 44BC? Certainly the climate cultists must know this to a tenth of a degree.

the earth has a fever and its temperature is going to have to be taken rectally...
ouch
Watts Up!
Thanks .
Correction - it’s the hottest its ever been in the past million, billion, gazillion years!
Cryptic much?
“Beware the ides of March” and there’s Caesar graspin’ a handful of chittlins.
Notice the pattern. Brief warm periods followed by deep glacial periods.
What if we were overdue for a glacial and our CO2 was the only thing holding it off?
