Ticket prices have been raised to the roof such that normal working American citizens are priced out of attendance

Who's going to all the NFL games?

My KC Royals are moving, leaving a perfectly good updated stadium. Such BS.

If the people are dumb enough to vote for a tax fund private business, let them be taxed to fund the billionaire businessmen.

In general, I agree, but most of these boondoggles are 'sold' to the voters as being financed by hotel and car rental taxes. I'd like to see state-level constitutional amendments to take public funding of stadiums off the table completely. Same goes for school stadiums.

Easy to get that passed in California. Then 25 other states can follow their lead.

It'll be legal in the remaining states but it will no longer be a good move politically to use public funds to finance the stadium for a wealthy owner.

The fans at the game are mostly white, financially comfortable and older.

Apparently they enjoy being told how racist they are as well.

I don’t know the market in Upstate New York that well but will they be able to afford the tickets at the new fancy stadium?

God. Let him move.

I’m fed up with arrogant $Billionaires demand society bow down to them.

I am not for taxes, in general, but I think there should be a tax on professional sports teams when they are sold. The money should be dedicated to whatever public entities that foot the bill for facilities. If the local public entities haven’t paid for new stadiums, then the tax should be zero.

Or, better yet, tax the profits of these teams in proportion to how much public money has been used that year for their benefit.

Like Roman gladiatorial arenas, for all the bread and circuses needed to hide a crumbling nation.

Can somebody tell me why we pay for these things but the sports teams get all of the money from them? And the concession venders make a killing too. Professional athletes and Leagues should not be making the kind of money that they make when we have to pay for these very expensive venues.

Haven’t we built enough ivory castles to these people.
When you can afford to pay your players multi million dollar salaries you can afford to build your own castles.

I never understood the halftime show with rapper named 50 cent, swinging upside down on monkey bar exercise type equipment. And apparently still singing his rap while doing so.

And I think another year, there was a rapper dude whose Entourage included backup dancers, who appeared to have underwear on their heads.

"Jacksonville if facing the same issue with the Jaguars, the Owner wants 2 billion in renovations to the stadium and he’s pledging to put up 1 billion of his own money."

Khan needs to eat it. There are multiple vulture funds ready to poach his bitchnazz team, meanwhile he wants both Jville and London to co-home the Jagoffs.
