How do you have Federal courts adjudicating election disputes between states if you don't have a uniform standard that serves as the basis for a court decision?
The Texas lawsuit preposterous on its face. You had Texas claiming that other states didn't meet their legal standards for a presidential election ... while Texas itself also didn't meet its own legal standards for a presidential election.
