I tried to do a google search on the location/map of this fort using “Fort Esperanza, Pass Cavallo, Matagorda Bay” and it gave me a location at least probably 10 miles from any water and or Island. That doesn’t make sense where is this Fort is it there, which doesn’t make sense or somewhere else near by.
