I hope and pray that PDJT isn’t taken in by VR’s charming smarminess. He doesn’t have a good history in that regard.

I was on the fence about those appointments for a long time, but I’m more inclined now to believe that they were the bad part of the deal President Trump had to make with crooked McConnell. PDJT would get his 228 (ultimately) judge/justice appointments, guided through the Senate approval process by McConnell, but McConnell would get to recommend/fill his insider positions. Q was always clear that the court appointments were the most consequential accomplishments of his first term and we’re seeing why right now.
If McConnell did pressure PDJT to accept members of the deep state into his inner circle and Cabinet, I think President Trump knew he was getting swamp critters, but also knew it was the price he had to pay. We’ll have to wait for the post-Presidency books to come out wherein PDJT and his real allies tell all the tales of deception and deal-making they were forced to endure to get the most important tasks done - right-side the judiciary, create Space Force, and show that world peace was attainable.
