You may believe that Israel’s response to October 7 is disproportionate. You may even believe that, on some level, the IDF is guilty of war crimes. But to accuse Israel of committing genocide is as preposterous as it is scandalous. Yet the word “genocide” is virtually ubiquitous these days, the most common description of Israel’s allegedly abominable acts.

Scandalous, and just wrong. But then again, I no longer care about the supposed plight of Palestinians.
“Scandalous” implies that shame should be involved somewhere, whether feeling it, or having it applied.
Nah, accusing Israel of genocide is not even REMOTELY scandalous amongst the “woke” left right now (and hasn’t been scandalous since pretty much immediately after 9-11, when lefties were already saying it was an “Inside Job” pulled off by Mossad). Nah, associating Israel with genocide has graduated from merely trendy to almost gospel-level sacred speech amongst the left, and likewise it has moved beyond merely trendy to pretty much a required mantra to be on the lefty bandwagon at the moment.
1948 there were ~1MM arabs, there’s what ~2.3MM now, oh yeah, genocide...
According to 20% of Americans the Holocaust never happened. So how can Israel be accused of doing something that never happened?
Um, what?
1) The Holocaust never happened
2) Israel is treating the Palestinians the same way the Nazis treated the Jews
You’ve seen people expressing both of these views or just extrapolating in an illogical manner, just as you are accusing others of doing?
Their opening gambit is always slander. Always. Not just this issue.
The left’s strategy is to repeat the big lie until people believe it.
