Once upon a time, presidential candidates were interviewed in order to bring out their views and personalities so that the voters could make informed decisions.

Nowadays, it’s just media figures angrily debating Republicans, desperately asserting that the Republican is wrong about everything. Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! It’s not even a respectful conversation. It’s dismissive and condescending because Republicans are sub-human.

***********

None of the moderators or interviewers seem to have any interest in hearing proposed solutions to our national problems and how candidates would manage the country. Instead its nothing but childish gotcha games. They put their own petty personal agendas and ideological biases ahead of working to better inform the voters about their choices.

So don’t question, push back or make a candidate justify their thoughts and positions?
