Recently received a bank email stating that my balance was now $0. VERY official looking with logo and disclaimers. Just click here. Scam.

We will all be assigned a number type ID that will be imprinted on our skin or via implanted chip to prevent scams.

I get between 3 and 13 scam emails a day. They are far from realistic. Imagine getting an Amazon email that had no graphics. They aren’t even trying. Maybe thats the point. It filters out the ones that would be harder to trick.

Yeah, but the phone AI systems STILL can’t do anything remotely useful.

Yes, this "Generative AI" is so good it produces very authentic looking junk mail. Just have a look below. You might not believe it, but these are ALL junk. Hard to believe, huh?
I take advantage of all these free offers and the UPS and FedEx guys get tired of delivering all my free stuff.
And get that guy "Elon"! He is so busy making things that I just don't know how he finds time to sleep.

I am finding more and more articles that had to be written by AI. Weird punctuation, word usage not quite right, repetition.
Between the search engines no longer returning anything that is not approved by “brought to you by Pfizer” and half the content being AI-generated, the Interwebs are becoming pretty much useless.

Every week I get an email that my master card with XXX credit union will be blocked if I don’t respond. I don’t have a master card and I don’t do business with XXX.

The great AI scam resides, at times, in the White House.
If you go look at his nomination acceptance speech you will see the first of many.
And I am convinced he has more than one stand in, Not Joe’s.

I don’t answer any calls where I don’t recognize the number.
And if I get a text claiming it’s from the bank. I call the bank or go in inn person and talk to them.
