The question is kind of pointless for a number of reasons:

1. Trump will not select his running mate. The GOP leadership will do that, as it did in 2016.

2. Dozens of cabinet-level and other senior executive branch appointees require Senate confirmation. Trump won’t be selecting those people, either.

Which goes back to the question, who will back Trump and not bow to the uniparty.

The problem is Trump’s unconfirmed staff appointments were just as bad, if not worse, than those requiring senate approval. Occam’s Razor says Trump just doesn’t care much about political policy and staffing. He has other priorities and it shows in spades.

The GOP leadership will do that, as it did in 2016.

They are trying very hard to appoint their own candidate for President, how is that working out for them? He will have to out maneuver the Senate on appointments and find competent people outside of the deep state crowd that are willing to take temporary appointments because it may be the only way to get real patriotsin those jobs.
