Thanks for your patience on the vanity. I want some educated feedback here.
I just heard an interview with a Democrat Congressman who said they would not vote "Yes" on a spending bill for Ukraine & Israel if funds for securing the US Southern Border were also part of the Bill. So, that begs the following questions:
1) Why would any US Congressman *not* want to secure the US Border? What is the downside? And....
2) How come no journalist EVER asks the above question of a Democrat politician?
These two things seem so obvious to me, that to miss asking these as a journalist is irresponsible.
Thoughts?
Condensed and concise answers:
1) Votes (by harvesting, but eventually with amnesty)
2) Fear (You don’t get to keep your beat in Washtington if you alienate the powerful)
They did something simalar with Reagan.
Reagan said it was the worst decision he ever made.
The political meaning of ‘secure the border’ is different than the rational meaning.
Pols/bureaucrats have used the phrase for decades. Seldom are they asked how/when or what does that mean?
It is a throwaway phrase to make it sound like they are doing something. Pols/bureaucrats make good shysters.

Simple: bcause they are on the same communist globohomo team. Their team hates the God of the Bible and anyone who seeks to follow the God of the Bible, because the God of the Bible condemns every sin they love.
3) Lower cost labor class.
4) Historically the peoples we today call "Hispanics" have been easier for the political class to control than westerners. A lot of it has to do with our religious differences (majority Protestant English speakers don't believe in a clergy class that can control our access to God like majority Catholic Spanish speakers do). If you're used to believing an elite political class controls even your access to God then it's easier to accept a secular government also controlled by an elite political class.
Democrats are OUT TO DESTROY THIS GREAT COUNTRY.

I don’t disagree - but in this sense, that reasoning really doesn’t apply, does it? The Bible doesn’t address the political implications of the US border and how not enforcing a border impacts that debate.

Many (and I DO mean MANY) who are currently elected to office, DO NOT BELIEVE in the principles found in the CONSTITUTION which they ALL swore to uphold. They therefore represent WE THE PEOPLE under FALSE PRETENSE.
There was a time in our political history when a few in the majority of true patriots recognized this small group of representatives for what they were... INFILTRATORS... DECEIVERS... TRAITORS... COMMUNISTS! and they sought to expose them and oust them from the halls of congress.
This movement and the fear behind it was known as “McCarthyism”. (Oddly enough we just somehow fired a communist speaker of the house named McCarthy)
Today, that same group of traitors is no longer a small one... but rather the MAJORITY.
This sad but unmistakable truth was NEVER more evident as it was on Jan 6th, 2021.
If Donald Trump accomplished ANYTHING of lasting significance, it was to show us just how far this nation has fallen, and to expose the illusion that WE THE PEOPLE are hardly in charge of anything... most importantly our elections.

Besides the government, the enemies of this country and the principles upon which it was founded UNDERSTAND that to overthrow this country from within, you must attack and control all 3 aspects of government, education, and MEDIA.
So many people today who truly understand what this nation is about are unfortunately SO DECEIVED and UNAWARE of how just how successful the enemy has been over so many decades.
We have been defeated by our own complacency

The stability of the nation is not just sure borders. The nation itself has to remain true to its foundation. The left hates the Constitution.
If President Trump was for it, then they are against it.

Party of country. The democrats play the long game. They KNOW the welfare leeches waltzing across the border are a locked in voting bloc that will keep the party in power forever.
A smart republican border hawk would go down to brownsville and give the illegal invaders MAGA hats and put some on camera saying they can’t wait to vote for Trump. The border would be locked up like Obama’s history.
EX- "Securing the border" is a complicated issue with many moving parts. Much too complex to be simply tagged onto the end of any other funding bill. We need a comprehensive solution to the immigration issue which requires it's own bill.
Non-answer which makes them seem open to border reform without ever saying it.
