This performance of 'In Your Eyes' is taken from Peter Gabriel's 'Secret World Live' concert film and features the late, great Papa Wemba.

The extraordinary 1993 live show – conceived by Peter and Robert Lepage – was filmed across two nights (16 & 17 November) at the Palasport Nuovo in Modena, Italy.
The Secret World Live tour itself was in support of Peter’s sixth solo album, US.
The concert has been digitally restored and remastered from the original 16mm film stock and the audio remixed and remastered in Stereo, Dolby 5:1 and DTS Soundtracks.
The Peter Gabriel (formerly of Genesis) shows are known for the outstanding stage performances.
Nowadays your eyes need glasses. 🤓
Still a great song though.
The dancing chickens from my fav video come to mind.
MFL.
One of the greatest love songs of all time!
Just a casual listener of PG’s work...but his “Book of Love” is an extraordinary song and used at the end of Scrub’s real final episode.

Saw him on the last date of this year’s US tour here in Houston.
A great show, and the people he added to his backing band for the tour were extraordinary musicians.
I saw him perform this at a impromptu concert on the lawn of the UN.
Have gone to quite a few Gabriel concerts over they years... every one of them was fantastic.
This cover of the song by Jeffrey Gaines is pretty good.

I never saw him.
Saw him live once with Genesis way back in the day. Gabriel's performance as the lead vocalist was astounding. The resonant voice! Costume changes during a song, you name it. I have never understood the adulation of Phil Collins in comparison, although Phil has done some good work.
