Honey can be very beneficial for soothing and flavoring. It can also help alleviate outdoor allergy symptoms when it is produced in the local area (of the sufferer.) For optimum benefit of enzymes and antimicrobial and antibacterial properties, take at least one teaspoon before adding more to your hot drink. Honey loses beneficial qualities when heated higher than 110 degrees.

Thanks Cleebie, I will do that, I love honey enough that I can take a teaspoon on its own. I know that microwaving or stove heating honey reduces its benefits, I didn’t relate that to hot tea.

Thanks for this reminder.

I like honey on my toast or English muffin.
