You are a good sport about the Army win. I had many lively discussions with my Navy veteran father over the series, being an Army veteran myself.
Like the New Orleans Saints, it is never too early to say - Wait until next year!
Service members and vets will verbally abuse other service members/vets in ways that would leave others horrified.
For example, when I see someone I don't know in Wal*Mart wearing a different service ball cap, I will say, "I didn't know they allowed _____ pukes to shop here." This never fails to get a smile and we might chat for a few minutes. You meet a lot of interesting people that way. I even met a retired Army general one time. He was passing through but we chatted pleasantly.
While on active duty, I would abuse Army Military Intel types by reminding them that Military Intelligence is a contradiction in terms while Naval Intelligence is redundant. FWIW - Air Force Intelligence has been postulated but never documented.
That this is permitted, and even tacitly encouraged, is because both sides know that the other has their back. (Except during the Army/Navy game.)
