Let me chime in on this story with some third hand but highly credible (at least I think so) information.
A friend of mine is a highly decorated Marine (retired) Colonel, and served in highest level diplomatic and intelligence missions. He told me, and has told many others, of a friend of his, also USMC Col., who was the military attaché at the US Mission in Nairobi, Kenya. The attaché was called to attend to an American woman who was to be taken off an airplane as she was about to give birth. The woman was Stanley Anne Dunham, and the child, born in Nairobi, was BarCk Obama.

The woman was Stanley Anne Dunham, and the child, born in Nairobi, was BarCk Obama. I have no doubt he was born in Kenya. I'm not defending bammy.

1) that news story “Kenyan born Obama all set for US Senate”,
2) the bio synopsis for Obama’s book, that said he was born in Kenya; those synopses are taken from what the books authors tell the publishers.
