Rep. Roy was deferential speaking of the new Speaker, Mike Johnson. Both Chip and Steve Bannon appreciated his Christian world view, and agreed that vSpeaker probably as the best he canhas a place in the R Party. I believe that is why Chip Roy said he thought Mike’s staff got to him.
That excuse is popping up everywhere in the last several days, I’ve noticed. On both sides and even neutral reporting. It was used in a story on Liz Magill, Penn University.
It is true that congressional staff lay out all the pieces, order them up for prioritizing and those for negotiating, etc.. Maybe it’s heavy lifting to do a deal with Democrats and staff get tired. Idk. But to end it, they bring the product to the Speaker and probably want a green light. I have to hope the Speaker is on a learning curve, or will bo Put on one!
Roy was seriously wanting us to phone our US House representatives to STOP IT as it goes to the floor next week and Congress wants to go home for the holidays! Chip wants to hammer this out. Fat chance
Dank!
😁
Santos expulsion was a fools errand. I seriously doubt they have the votes now to impeach Biden. That Republican gremlin in Colorado has anger issues and votes NO. Can’t think of his name. Only Four letters, I think. Still, I get his name confused with the names he’s been called.
Grok makes up numbers
Crazy
The Santos expulsion was part of a RINO strategy to turn the majority over to the Dems until the special elections are held to replace the RINOs that are retiring midterm and give the Dems a chance to keep it until Jan. 2025 if they can win the enough special elections.
That’s why no Dems are being targeted for expulsion.

Oil Continues To Slide After A Brief Rally Fizzles

Yep! Obvious to everyone except the House GOP. Rush Limbaugh always said (iirc) that the GOP did not want to rule, they seemed satisfied to be a part of things. I wonder if they will even maintain their majority to the 2024 election.
The Republican Senate had already fizzled my hopes for the GOP; Speaker Johnson has dashed them. Like Caturd (sp?) on Truth Social, I have given up on supporting that party... add Ronna McDaniel saying, with contempt, she won't ever give any money to Vivek Ramaswamy (like it is her money) plus the Ukraine boondoggle as we sink deeper into debt - and the failure to produce a budget, only another CR.
Their failure to expose the January 06 scam and expose the terrible danger of what was done; their failure to champion the Jan 06 prisoners and their horrible abuse.... The more I write the more utter failures I come up with.
I can no longer support the GOP. I want a political party that will defend the Constitution and traditional social and moral values. Our public schools are an abomination yet not really an issue; I read a story this week that a school had a girl sleep with a transgender female (male) without telling the parents. As far as I am concerned the public schools should be raided by the vice police and many teachers thrown in jail. Tulsi Gabbard says that parents should home school and avoid public schools. BUT they are still paying for that abomination. Humbug!
Give me a party with some fight for right in it❗❗❗
I have no idea what you mean. FISA doesn't work at all unless you clean up the corruption. The abuses apparent in the Obombo admin have never even been addressed; they continue to this day as I understand it. The only reason can be that the enforcement arms of the USGvt actually DO run the govt and the GOP is cowered in fear. I watch Chris Wray and Merrick Garland before Congress and I see two men who know that they owe nothing to the Congress. And when the budget for a new FBI headquarters arises, the GOP does not use it to exercise their authority over the FBI. They don't demand that Garland and Wray stop corrupting their agencies and resign! Same with DHS chief Mayorkas.
One can see where the power lies and it is NOT in Constitutional government!
Venezuela, Guyana: Venezuela To Build Homes in Disputed Territory
Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro announced via state television the construction of 120 homes to benefit the “Esequibano-Venezuelan people,” Infobae reported on Dec. 7....
Its immediate adoption by many foreign intelligence agencies, for whatever purpose, was a revealing sign. Brad Thor, in one of his books, describes a surveillance program that can effectively monitor a household, tell how many people come and go, when no one is home, and much of internal activities -- without ever entering the premises to place sensors. I am confident that such a program grew out of ProMIS software.
After I wrote that earlier post I remembered the FBI using Carnivore, a program to monitor web activity, often connecting it to private ISP servers. I know they were monitoring my FR activity in the 90s because I had two ISP providers ask me to find a different service for obscure reasons.
Way back in the 70s I knew my phone was monitored - either FBI or mil intel (I'm getting old, I can't remember the designation.) I had a girlfriend who loved to call me on the phone Friday nights and weekends and talk explicitly about our physical relations. I warned her that my phone was monitored and she might want to keep that in mind; that seemed to just stimulate her more. I used to amuse myself thinking how some surveillance supervisor was scratching his head wondering why so many of his agents wanted to work weekends when they didn't have to. 🤗😄
