My Doctor recently suggested I consider RSV Vaccine.
Any opinion to share. I have not my Annual Flu and Pneumonia shot.
Second, while I do not give medical advice, I'm willing to explain why my DW and I (in our seventies) are not considering such a vaccination.
The RSV (respiratory syncytial virus) has been with us for generations. It's a likelihood that we've been exposed (with some recurring frequency) and maybe had light cases, thus have antibodies at this moment. Thus, we choose to skip the vaccination, which is likely an unneeded risk for us.
For a bit of a background, we're not antivaxxers. We've both had annual flu shots, polio, DPT, pneumonia, shingles and more. We goofed and got the mRNA series (never another mRNA for us) and now get the NovaVax Covid vaccine yearly. Many hereabouts will disagree with our choices, and I respect the contrary opinions.
That which our body makes is not the same as what drug companies and the government foisted on people. You remind me of an epidemiologist at a hospital I worked at, who thought it was ok for AIDS patients with open sores to use the one shower that all the ambulatory patients on our unit used.
Yes and I add Zinc. Have not had a sniffle since I got the WuFlu three years ago and started on the regimen. Don’t seem to get sick anymore.
Agree:: contained in the Zelenko stack
I’ve got a stock of HCQ and Ivermectin to fill a small pharmacy. Just in case.
Zinc Sulfate 220mg was recommended to me by my doctor. I never thought of that one. Cheap and effective against viruses. She also recommended D3 for the same reason, with the same endorsement that you posted.
I take both supplements at her recommended dosages.
I still get flu shots, but not the COVID boosters, with their mRNA globules that do not behave the way they said they would.
how can anybody with at
least two brain cells be willing to take any new vaccine today?
If the CDC recommends it, I avoid it. My wife gets all that stuff and had the two covid shots and a booster on top of it and now she’s more sick than ever. I never took any of the shots and I have a robust immune system. She is sorry about getting the covid shots but hasn’t learned her lesson on the rest of it yet.
I’m in the same boat. My daughters almost died of RSV when they were babies 27 yrs ago. Last year, I was really sick with it and complications from it (bacterial infection and then costchodritis) for 1 1/2 months
I think I’m going to hold off this year to see what’s happening with side effects and make sure it’s effective.
I should have held of on the Covid vaccine, but I didn’t.
I don’t quite trust the medical establishment.p
How about the pneumonia vaccines, provided they have not compromised those yet.
I got them years ago because I figured the risk of reacting to the vaccine was less than the risk of reacting to whatever treatment they gave me, including antibiotics.
I have a tendency to hypersensitivity reactions to a lot of things and I don't want to take antibiotics unnecessarily so I don't become sensitive to them in the event I really need them at some point.
If the pneumonia vaccines have not been adulterated, that might be the better option than Covid/flu vaccines.
Personally I wouldn’t get it. But then I’m young, healthy, and well supplied with ivermectin and HCQ. You must do what you think is best, given your medical history, but the last few years have been a real eye-opener on what the medical-industrial complex has been putting in vaccines.
From this forum today:
Both COVID “Vaccines” & RSV “Vaccines” cause ADE & you’re more likely to get severe COVID & RSV after Vaccination

Why are you here - sound like you aren’t that much of an ‘ex-dem’ after all.
Why don’t you keep your smug mocking to yourself.
Oh, and good luck with that mRNA vaccine you got - my mother’s curable cancer went out of control within weeks of getting it. Hope you have good burial insurance.
Those were not effective for me. Being older or am someone who fit the ideal for use of the vaccine. It hasn’t impacted me at all

Btw, when was the first time you heard of RSV?
I am a pretty aware person. Raised 3 kids.
Never even HEARD of RSV until an epidemic broke out after the covid vaxxes started.
I’ll never another flu shot for anything ever. I was a pin cushion in the military and during my DoD employment traveling world wide.
I doubted the covid crap from the beginning because it made no sense. Never got the jab neither did my wife, kids or grandkids... that was a massive wake up call.
If the government or big pharma recommends it DON’T GET IT. if your Dr recommended the covid jab then DON’T GET IT because he’s an idiot.
Exactly.
I heard of it in babies years ago. Many adults probably had it but figured it was a bad cold.
I believe this is another way to scare people into putting more of the lethal crap into people’s system to ruin their natural immunity.
