I didn’t see the interview, and I like Carlson on a lot of issues, but this is a good editorial I’m inclined to agree with. The October 7 atrocity is its own thing. No pretext for comparing it to more directly domestic issues is persuasive to me. While I believe no nation, ethnicity or lineage is beyond criticism, it’s true that folks who criticize Israel and Jews tend to go a special kind of bonkers with it. The fact that October 7 has become a celebration to such critics demonstrates that.
Notice that responding to a massacre is war-mongering. Not committing a massacre, but responding to it.
