We may be anti-big government, but a lot of us aren’t anti-government.
Having a structure of law (as we do, or did, in our Republic) and governments at all levels maintaining law enforcement mechanisms at appropriate levels is something that allows us to go to work every day and leave our houses empty.
The fact that we have had legally passed legislation that was enforced from the locally organized police up through the FBI (which provided a democratically agreed on framework for the type of society we all agreed via our representatives in government) made it possible to provide societal stability and protection from crime.
We have seen what happens when that is removed, as is being done.
As this Regime collapses, people will look to the local forces that can impose some sort of order and keep out urban criminal robbers and looters- even if it is the Cartels.
If one were to take Georgia, and its rural counties and small towns, they are mostly as RED as you can get. And there are lots of folks with guns. Lots of guns. Why can’t the people maintain that order and keep the bad folks out?
Hell, even the rural areas that are predominantly black, those folks might vote Democrat, but they can defend themselves, too.

In my view the issue in a Regime collapse is organized invasions of areas, rather then individual criminals.
Armed citizens can deal with individual criminals.
But if it is violent gangs from the cities, an organized police force with a command structure, hierarchy, communications equipment etc. can more easily respond than a group of neighbours trying to organize themselves from scratch, while, meanwhile, 5 carloads of Atlanta apes are going house to house.

And what is worse it is Anarcho-Tyranny where Regime-aligned criminal demographics get a pass, while anyone who fights back gets the Kyle Rittenhouse treatment.
Any USA Federal law enforcement is a total right-off in my view, and a lot of the State police as well. Any honest and law-following police forces will be local level in the rural areas.

That seems to already be the M.O. for most cops in places like Seattle, Portland, Chicago, etc...
In 1963 Detroit was 25% black but only 3% of the police force was black. The police dept. used to have a unit called STRESS (1971-1974) (Stop The Robberies, Enjoy Safe Streets) which replaced Big Four squad cars in the 1960s.
When I attended Wayne State University in Deroit 1964-1968 I personally saw the unmarked Big Four cars at night, weighted down on the rear suspension by four heavy police detectives (Broderick Crawford would have been called “little guy” to them) and their heavy weaponry in the trunk. People of all races took them seriously.
In any event, the city switched strategies to avoid yuge protests and lawsuits by persons of color.
Problem: Detroit has now had a large number of black Chiefs of Police, review board oversight and big numbers of black officers and commanding officers.
One figure Detroit’s police department listed 56.3% African American, with 37.4% white, 5.1% Hispanic, and 1.2% classified as “other.” Detroit has a 77.94% black population as of 2023. Recruitment of new black officers has been failing for years now.
The people still oppose the police and attack them often.
Reducing whites on the force did not work.

Not if you work in Europe or Australia. After 180 days of residence, you will pay local country taxes. Surprise! These are at even higher rates than American taxes.
You must know what you are doing and have the right locations, connections, and sponsors to make expatriation a viable plan. It cannot work for everybody, or even very many people.
Moving out of socialist States is usually the best option available for most people. Let the giant urban zones rot and die. Wall them off and do nothing to save them.

You’d get police forces with all PoCs and no one hiring private firms because government wouldn’t allow it. IT’s not hard to imagine a little further down the line something like “The Turner Diaries,” then.

I remember when I was at San Francisco State University. The PLO had an office in the Student Union. I was so fed up with much of it I decided to demonstrate the racism. I created a poster White Men Can’t Jump & Black Men Can’t Add. There was a movie with the title White Men Can’t Jump, but no one called the title racist. I created the poster, and arrived on campus very early. I found/chose what would later be a very busy stairway and hallway. I placed the poster at eye level, and moved down the hall to wait and observe. As the people came in, there was, at first, just comments about the poster, outrage etc. Eventually, someone would gasp and tear it down. Another day I would arrive early, and begin a new. Too much fun.
