White men should not sign up for police departments. They should opt out just like they’re doing with the military. They have no upside.
And towns should draw down their police forces, and quietly hire private security firms, off the books if possible, where those white guys disposed towards police work should go for employment.

The rest of us, not quite so fortunate. We get hood rats with badges and TSA agents demanding our shoes, belt, and papers.
A much different demographic, and a much lower crime rate.
In the past, if there was something the locals could not handle, there was help from the State and maybe Federal level.
Now the disorder is likely coming from the State or Federal level.

You have a point. If most private businesses ran their operations like government does, they’d be bankrupt, lose everything and be sitting in jail for 30 years for ripping off their employees and investors. That’s what happens in the real world outside government.
