An astonishing new image shows the moment the $300k Bentley involved in the Niagara Falls checkpoint explosion soared through the air moments before combusting.
US police said on Thursday they were still investigating the fiery crash on the bridge linking New York state and Ontario the day before.
The dramatic fireball incident at 11.29am Wednesday sparked a security scare and the closure of four US-Canadian border crossings on the day before Thanksgiving.
A new image which emerged on X, formerly known as Twitter, shows the luxury motor twisting sideways as it hurtled through the air at break-neck speed.
It was being driven by a 56-year-old Manhattan businessman with his wife in the passenger seat on their way to a KISS concert.
US federal agencies including the FBI have now confirmed the incident was not a terrorist event. The Niagara Falls PD Crash Management Unit has take on the probe.
'Due to the complexity of the incident, the investigation will take some time to complete,' the department's Superintendent John Faso said in a statement.
'At this time the identity of those involved is pending positive identification and notification to next of kin.'
The Bentley, believed to be a Flying Spur, comes in both petrol and hybrid models, and it's unclear which one this was.
Video of the crash caught on security camera and previously posted to X by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agency showed the car traveling from the U.S. side at high speed.

Apparently all the charges were dismissed....https://www.lipsitzgreen.com/in-the-news/tax-fraud-charges-against-lumber-store-owner-dismissed/
Why would someone post a thread about a picture and not actually post the picture.
He must have been drinking RedBull...
The media has brain-storming sessions where they fabricate contingency stories that only require blanks to be filled before rushing to be the first to release them.
I watched a speeding FedEx panel truck fly over an intersection - a leap of about 60 feet.
From start to finish:
“That truck does not appear to be slowing down for the Stop Sign . . .”
The truck completely missed all the traffic.
The lay of the land and road grade were in the truck’s favor.
All eyes on the truck . . . “and he made it!”
V8, V12 or V6 Hybrid versions are available:

time of fireball (post #41): 11:22:28
Time of flying car: 11:22:38
so after the flying shot was taken it flew for another 10 seconds at most of 100mph?
only explanation is the image in post 41 is taken after impact.
A faulty processing unit could have randomly commanded the cruise control system to enter into a rogue-ish mode where a previously established cruising speed can be temporarily overridden in order to bring the speed up or down and reset by the driver to a new cruising speed. If the driver never establishes that new cruising speed, an uncontrolled sustained acceleration of the vehicle may occur. This is just an “educated” guess on my part and if I’m even close then I’d like to hear what Bentley Motors LTD would have to say about it.
Okay this is getting very weird. I don’t know what happened but it’s certainly not what they’re telling us.
Now official:
The victims were identified Friday by Niagara Falls Police as Grand Island residents Kurt P. Villani, 53, and his wife, 53-year-old Monica Villani.
(So there was a Kurt in his 70s who died last year, this one who died Wed. and a Kurt in his 20s who played minor league
hockey)
and from Daily Mail:
>>Griends say they’d been having problems with the gas pedal in prior weeks
The pair were both killed when the vehicle crashed at an immigration gate
They are survived by their children, Kurt Jr., 26, and Mia, 27
>>Friends
WHAT HAPPENED TO THE “STOLEN CAR” STORY????
Bentley recalled cars because accelerators were getting stuck two years before Niagara Falls crash that killed Kurt and Monica Villani in their 2022 Flying Spur
