if Jan thought it would protect and promote Christendom, by the will of God, he would have done whatever it took...

there would be no Christendom without the Jews.
the generation of jews that crucified the living Christ, did so at the will, ordinance and mandate of God almighty and it was fore ordained as a “MUST HAVE” incident by the creator himself, before the foundation of the world. The romans carried out the order by ungodly Gentiles of Roman ideology. Indeed without Christ’s expressed will and permission in advance NO crucifixion could have ever taken place. Salvation is of the Jews. Ordained by God through the command of God... had the princes and rulers of this world known they would have NEVER crucified the Lord of Glory. At the end, their blindness to the messiah made it possible for God to save the West through the Word of God, crucified for us, and the promotion of the Gospel via the church, which was at the time, comprised mostly of wait for it... the JEWS.

I think you are wrong. Just my opinion. But without Jews, the law of Moses, the grace of God, expressed through the Christ *the jewish messiah... we would have no Savior, Salvation or Faith...

God Forbid.

Right. But by the 17th century Judaism was pretty much non-existent. For all intents and purposes in the Western world, it was an anachronism that would have existed outside its proper time and place in salvation history.

And Pilate seeing that he prevailed nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, taking water washed his hands before the people, saying: I am innocent of the blood of this just man. Look you to it. And the whole people answering, said: His blood be upon us and upon our children. Then he released to them Barabbas: and having scourged Jesus, delivered him unto them to be crucified. (Matthew 27:24-26)
