What this girl apparently doesn’t realize is that for many of these professional jobs, there are millions of immigrants from places like Mumbai and Beijing who think a two-hour commute (each way) to a job in New York City or Philadelphia or Los Angeles is a dream life.

A 2 hour commute would be untenable. Understood. Time to relocate.

I can’t relate as I was 15 minutes from my dream job for many years, and then 2-5 seconds (bed to desk) when we hung our own shingle.

Calls to Phoenix from east coast came as early as 4:30, so separate bedrooms were necessary.

Later, my trusty Macbookair reduced commute to literally zero.

4 hours commuting every stinking day...egads.
