Is it OK to have your sole loyalty belong to America?

Or does loyalty to America depend on subservience to another country? IOW, subservience which requires total lack of criticism, total agreement, to avoid malignant name calling?

my two cents, ‘loyalty’ is not a Christian virtue. it can be good or bad depending on who or what you are loyal to—the object of your loyalty. and if loyalty is to be good, it certainly has to go first to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, before anyone or anything else.

your commitment to America is required and defined by your citizenship oath to the Constitution and America’s commitment to staying in the Will of God. similarly, your commitment to Israel or any strange country is dependent solely on that country’s commitment to stay in the Will of God.

Your question made me think of the free traitors who called themselves capitalist Christian patriots, but who supported sending our manufacturing, technology, and money to a communist country that oppresses the church.

Now they're building up their infrastructure and military with our money while we have to raise the debt ceiling just to pay the interest on our loans.

We chose cheap labor over our own children and Vets, and now our kids are in debt for training for tech jobs that are being outsourced and we have a homeless Vet problem.

And after all of that, where are those cheaper prices the free traitors promised us?

If that's what your post is about, then yes we should have been loyal to our country. If we had been, then we wouldn't be facing all of the problems we have now.
