Athletic Deer Leaps Over a Moving Bicycle

While cyclist Edwin Gonzalez Montoya of Chicago was participating in the Hincapie Gran Fondo in Greenville, South Carolina he saw something odd fly overhead. In reviewing the GoPro footage, he saw that the unidentified flying object was actually an athletic deer leaping over his bicycle mid-ride.

I had an elk do that over the hood of my truck. The road was on a hill so one side was cut about 8 feet so it was an easy enough jump for him but certainly startling for me.

My little brother and a friend were going camping and took off early in the morning. Before they got two miles down the road to LBL, a young buck leaped across their path, smashed into the windshield and broke it’s neck dead.
They were just 17 and it scared them sh_tless. Needlessly to say their trip was postponed.

On the road I live on was coming home about 20 MPH and saw deer on left side. Slowed down to let him pass, guess he thought I was blocking him. Next thing I know he’s gone but my rooftop antenna is going twang. Checked my car no damage, must have made it all the way over and clipped my antenna.
