When Wray clams up during Congressional Hearings and hides behind "sources and methods", we need to interpret this as follows:

Their "sources" are rogue agents, cooperative big-data corporations, and corrupt, paid informants, and,

Their "methods" are largely unconstitutional, contrived entrapment, and/or violate the rights of the targets of their ill-conceived and politically motivated so-called investigations.

No wonder Wray can't be subjected to actual Congressional oversight - he may as well plead the 5th Amendment every time he talks to Congress.
