I suspect we would probably call their "Walking" Climbing without gear. I think L.J. would agree that mountains are best enjoyed from the valley or a nearby "hill" or in photos! UVNV; If you climb with gear, Excelsior! Enjoy, go for the summit!

I live pretty much on top of what was the Santa Fe Trail on land once resembled this photo, but is now covered with subdivision housing, roads, shopping centers, schools, and trees, which have obliterated the outlines of the land and horizon. (I still have a good sunset and yes, enjoy the trees.)
