We’ve been talking about the Israel-Hamas conflict for a month, now, and while opinions are ALL over the board regarding which side is more to blame, there is bipartisan agreement that the United States should NOT be directly involved in the conflict.
This is a viewpoint that @realDonaldTrump is endorsing, and that I see as the major bipartisan takeaway.
But another interesting Macro is developing:
It took Ukraine-Zelensky approximately 18 months to wear out the collective patience of the Collective Mind when it came to his nation’s plight … and how much U.S. cash could make the medicine go down easier.
For Israel-Netanyahu, the timeline has been accelerated to an extraordinary degree.
While American liberals are jumping all over Israel, defending Palestine—and sometimes even Hamas—even American Conservatives have grown tired of the warmongering, and are hesitant to trade one failed proxy war for another.
Every nation has the right to defend itself; but we don’t have to fund it.
We should then demand that any bank that holds Hamas funds freeze the funds which we will then claw back.
Then we should then place a request with interpol to arrest those leaders and send them to the U.S. for trial, or better yet, to the Hague. (It might take 10 or 12 years for the world court to actually do anthing. )
I know, I can hear the chorus of "It isn't going to happen." At the very least the first should happen.
