Every flim-flam man is clever.
That’s been my take on him as well. But I have to say, he seemed to show some genuine passion in that clip - even with the rehearsed line about two candidates in high heels. I’m still somewhat skeptical, but maybe a little less so after watching that.
I wouldn’t back Ramaswamy up either. He wants Israel to give the U.S. detailed information about it is going to deal with defeating Hamas before sending financial aid. Would you give Biden any information at all about your existential fight with terrorists?
Ramaswamy also criticized companies for blacklisting pro-Palestine/Hamas college students. Why shouldn’t a company be able to decide if it wants to hire a pro-terrorist or not?
It’s a good question. Why do Democrats always moderate debates? Yet Republicans don’t moderate Democrat debates.
Being a Republican in the media is a career ending move.
He says all the right things, but I’m not sure if I trust him. I would be OK if Trump picked him as his VP.
That is exactly what Charlie Kirk was saying would be a good thing to do. He is very unhappy with Rona’s poor (basically no) strategy for winning. She spent all kinds of money arranging this debate instead of strategizing how they can win the next election.

AGREE. VIVEK is now jockeying to be Vice President.

And he wasn’t a NBC.
DeSantis was very successful in his portrayal of being a MAGA supporter. But then he was offered the opportunity to go to the big show, politically. Thus he abandoned his con game because he had elevated himself to the point that he believed he no longer needed to run the con any longer. He wanted that political position now.
Even I bought the DeSantis con. He was the heir apparent for the MAGA movement as far as I was concerned.
Vivek has nothing to lose by emulating Donald John Trump. But he does have everything to gain. The fact that he knows he is not a Natural Born Citizen, and thus ineligible to hold either the presidency or the vice presidency, is evidence that he is willing to play the game, and is not a totally honest person.
