I think it’s just conformational bias. Once you decide on some level that the bad calls are the result of corruption instead of human error you see corruption. When you remember there’s never been a time in sports history without bad calls, and that honestly have nothing to gain by corruption results, you’ll stop seeing corruption. Humans make the calls, humans make mistakes.
Perhaps you’re right, but would you say the same about Congress?
They don’t solve any problems. They talk a lot, and blather on. I think most of them are corrupt, too. It’s the nature of the beast.
