I think it’s just conformational bias. Once you decide on some level that the bad calls are the result of corruption instead of human error you see corruption. When you remember there’s never been a time in sports history without bad calls, and that honestly have nothing to gain by corruption results, you’ll stop seeing corruption. Humans make the calls, humans make mistakes.
Perhaps you’re right, but would you say the same about Congress?
They don’t solve any problems. They talk a lot, and blather on. I think most of them are corrupt, too. It’s the nature of the beast.
pretty sure they are scripted...its entertainment and they can whatever they want.....still one always hopes that something breaks their plan.
Well we know the American government has been corrupt for... well basically ever.
Good question.....unfortunately. 🙄
Was it that way in the times of the Founding Fathers? Lord, I hope not. I hope that there was some decency back then.
The Founders let half the country own slaves. Different kind of corruption than the money grubbing we see now. But they sold the ideals they wrote in the Declaration for the expedience of not having to deal with some states clearly not being into those ideals. I count that as the seed of the corruption we’ve had ever since. First expedience, then expedience and profit (how the continental railroads happened is really sleazy), and these days just profit.
Gotcha.
If the Chiefs win the Super Bowl, will Taylor Swift get a ring?
