Kentucky Election Night Reporting
It is now 45,000 vote differnce.
bull. you’re being racist even stating that. way too many in the GOP are liberal and that’s why they vote liberal, especially for baby killers
Fixed it.
Neither side has any money in those down races. They ran ZERO ads until the last 3-4 days. When there is NO info, Kentuckians vote R 65-35.
When they see ads for 9 months saying Cameron won't allow a girl impregnated by her stepdad get an abortion, it adds up to a female turnout and a Dem win.
“Except blacks who are voting overwhelmingly for the white candidate over Cameron, the black Rep candidate. Party over race.”
This. There are a LOT of black union members (demoRats).......
VA is looking close, GOP doing very well in Hampton Rhodes? Should Trump go for it in 2024?
Did you say the same thing in 2008 when white overwhelming voted for McCain?
You said Cameron may lose because he is black because otherwise there were enough Republicans to carry him in. I pointed out the fact Cameron has won handily now in multiple elections (as have other blacks), and that Bevin lost to Beshear. You then claimed it was because it was "two different offices" - that makes zero sense - Republicans racist for some offices but not for others? Why didn't Bevin get "carried" in? The man was white. You are all over the place with your arguments because you know it doesn't make a bit of sense, and you ignored the point I made by ignoring the Bevin loss to Beshear that I highlighted.
Stop it. It is nonsense and you know it. Give Cameron $20 million to match Beshear and this race isn't even close...it would have been called at poll closing. Beshear never had to answer for his actions and virtually no one knows the things he did and tried to do. He marketed himself as a mainstream Kentuckian - even had a nearly 40% approval among Republicans. Never had to defend himself on supporting the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, appointing far leftists to the education board, the nursing board, vetoing bills to defend girls and women's sports, transgender surgeries for kids, etc. And was able to define Cameron as supporting rape of kids and forcing little kids to carry pregnancies as the result of rape, wanting to "take health care away from Kentucky families", "attack our schools", etc. without Cameron having any resources to effectively counter these messages. Not to mention other organizations running ads making similar claims. That's why Beshear has a shot at winning. I said that earlier and you replied with "then what is it?" as though you had not seen me post that before.
In practically every state, there is a LARGE majority opinion on abortion. People want it legal, for some period of time.
Any law that doesn't provide AT LEAST 6 weeks, more like 12-15, is going to draw enough ANTI vote to decide elections.
It's really NOT any more complicated than that. The sudden change with the SCOTUS ruling has thrown the issue back to the States, to the people... like we wanted. Well, THAT is what 'the people' want.
Western Kentucky (no Lexington, no Louisville) about to start to come in , should lean GOP!
China Mitch didn’t want him to win, period!
And apparently Cameron didn’t fight hard enough for it.
I don't agree. Cameron didn't show he could use the money he had. I see no evidence he would have done better with more.
He has a "likability" problem. That's hard to overcome. In America today, the most 'Likable' candidate generally wins.
The “hotter” candidate wins.
LOL Nuther way of saying the same thing.
I think Youngklin can beat Kaine in 14.
Local TV station showing it 53% - 47% now with 49% in. Most precincts are still out.
Depends on where this outstanding vote is, obviously. Are the Democrats holding back some precincts in Louisville and Fayette Counties? A couple of those could cancel out entire counties in the west. But if they are all mostly in...
We’ve seen this before a number of times...sometimes we come out the winner and sometimes we don’t. Bunning in 2004 was one where it looked like we were toast then western Kentucky slowly put him over the top. But then there was 2019...where it looked like we were going to pull through but fell just short.
We wish. Many are calling the race already. Not enough vote out there to overcome the current results.
“Any law that doesn’t provide AT LEAST 6 weeks, more like 12-15, is going to draw enough ANTI vote to decide elections.”
That was the law in Ohio, but Issue 1 would make abortion legal UP TO BIRTH in Ohio, AND It would be a constitutional right.
The SCOTUS ruling was correct, but with an evil society, we will see evil laws.
“We’ve been screwed since 2008.”
I know. But, I was hoping for a little ray of sunshine showing that SOME Americans retained or gained a little bit of sense.
