I am sure that the FBI is right on top of the terrorist concerns. /s
In the subsequent two decades [after 9/11], the federal government has created a complex surveillance system that enables it to spy on every citizen of the United States. Not only has freedom been foolishly traded for the promise of security, but also that promise proved to be a lie.
“ Unfortunately, Americans are at a disadvantage today because they have been conditioned to depend entirely upon government institutions for protection.”
I haven’t been.
L
The cold, hard truth is this: through its open border policies and refugee resettlement programs, the federal government is actively aiding and abetting the next terrorist attack on the United States. That defines the members of the Obama-Biden kakistocracies as traitors to the United States of America.
Be seeing you number 6.....
“No sane nation interested in the safety of its citizens would open its borders to tens of millions of illegal aliens, refuse to prosecute violent criminals, or secretly resettle anti-American, military-aged “refugees” into unsuspecting American communities. No sane nation wastes its resources harassing patriotic citizens as “domestic enemies,” while turning a blind eye to the damage caused by Antifa and BLM riots and the very real threats from Islamic terrorism.”
When things happen that don’t make any sense...
Someone is funding it. Someone is protecting it. Someone has an agenda.
FOLLOW THE MONEY!
...and their heads on a pike.
It is all good advice.
This mindset can be ingrained via mental repetition. I spent four years in the Navy, and during that time, I learned how important it was to be able to find my way out of wherever I was, whether it was lighted and unobstructed, or pitch black and full of smoke.
My wife teases me, because even 45 years later, if we go to any hotel or cruise ship (especially on a ship) one of the first things I do once we drop our luggage into our room is figure out how to get from wherever our room is to the outside or on deck. And I always have shoes available (that don’t have laces) and a flashlight on the bedside table.
Last cruise we went on a few years ago (which will probably be the last one we ever go on) our cabin was way down below deck. I made sure I knew two ways out, counted the doors to the nearest stairs, and counted the flights we would have to go up. I felt pretty sure that if we lost all power, I could have made it out of that vessel from at least three decks down, on my hands and knees, in pitch black, with smoke if I didn’t get overcome.
And that is just one microcosm of this mindset the author promulgates. That thing about being in a restaurant or nightclub, knowing where the exits are, having visiblity, etc. is good advice.
That said, I don’t go to places with big crowds or into cities much anymore unless I have to.
Especially not now.
The American Civil War was the last time a major conflict happened on the continental USA, no one alive today has seen war brought into the homeland.
You could say Alaska and Hawaii were involved in the fighting of WW II, which is true, except neither was a State at the time and I’m thinking of the 48 continental states.
Think about the panic and fear people suffered from during Covid, most of it induced by the Government and Media nonetheless, the panic and fear was rampant.
Imagine, a few months of continuous terrorist attacks inside the USA, suicide bombings, mass shootings, crashed airliners, electrical grid disrupted, etc., the level of panic and fear would be off the charts.
Especially in major cities, with a lack of police, the guns would come out and large numbers of innocent people would be thrown into the battle.
It’s hard to imagine how bad it could get.
Or it will be on a pike.................
” One second, concertgoers were enjoying festival music”
This sadly isn’t new.....
Route 91 Harvest music festival (Stephen Paddock???) 2017
Bataclan theatre attack (Eagles of Death Metal) 2015
Manchester Arena (Ariana Grande) 2017
and I’ll throw in the Altamont concert for good measure. :(
always be carrying something that can be used as a weapon — industrial flashlight, heavy duty wrench, knife, razor sharp scissors etc.....
Stupid article. Constantly staying in fight of flight mode is very damaging to mental health. Train. Lift weights. Buy ammo. Make yourself the most dangerous man in the room.ous
Good post and comments. Situational awareness and a firearm on or nearby is always good advice.
Why would the people allow themselves to be disarmed when their sworn enemy, the most murderous people on earth, lives and all around them.?
And “keep your hand at the level of your eyes!”
As Holmes told Watson, “You see, but you do not observe.” We have to observe everything except our phones.
