Cosmopolitan does not give a numerical rank, but this is the first movie that shows up, so I guess it's #1.
I know it is Cosmopolitan, but it is interesting what liberals think.

The Road should be on there, and probably near the top.
Maybe also Dark City.
I need to see Minority Report one of these days.

“it is interesting what liberals think.”
They are watching it for marching orders whereas we are watching it as a warning.

Decent list. I was surprised to see that they included Never Let Me Go. It’s a good pick, but it is a pro-life film if one connects the dots. I continue to be amazed that neither the filmmakers nor any of the reviewers seem able to make the connection. Of course, most of them are presumably good liberals, and if they were able to connect the dots, they would have to change sides.

Cosmopolitan? and they didn’t include ‘Waterworld’?

It's an interesting list. I never thought of “Interstellar” being dystopian. It seems more Sci-fi. It's one of the few newer movies I really like.
Wall-E is a real stretch for dystopian, not buying it.
I just finished watching "A Tale of Two Cities" (1980), that was a juxaposition of a dystopian society against a non-dystopian one.

Brazil. The directors cut. Not United States release. P.S....not to be confused with Boys from Brazil.

Idiocracy — a documentary ahead of its time!
12 Monkeys, the film with Bruce Willis (1995), didn’t make the list.

I love “Cloud Atlas” I paid to see it three times. If you didn’t like it, it’s because you’re wrong.

I would love to see someone make a series out of Matthew bracken’s “Enemies” books... That would be great, but NOT likely to happen... That would cut a little to close to the quick.. The DC lawyers wouldn’t like it one bit..!!

The Matrix is at the top of post-apocalyptic movies.
Another well done but depressing movie is The Road. Also, 28 Days Later.
I'm probably the only person here that likes The Postman. Water world not so much.
