Have a friend in Nebraska that feeds her dog leftover cooked chicken bones all the time.
Well, this is something that I find odd. My son’s dogs eat mostly beef bones, all the time. I never thought cooked chicken bones would hurt the dogs either. Now I don’t know if it’s because the big beef bones they eat are gnawed on and eaten very slowly. These dogs are a good size and they inhale food. Perhaps it was because he didn’t take the time to chew them up because they were small enough to just wolf down? I don’t know. But it made him very, very sick. They thought he was near dead. Threw up many times, then just laid on the floor and was shaking non-stop. Couldn’t hold his head up, couldn’t drink water. It really scared them.
My son ordered a small dumpster for the property so the garbage will be out of reach all the time. He needs it for his business anyway.
