It’s good to hear you sounding more upbeat about things! I think I know what you mean about things being done “right”. It’s so much easier to not make any waves, but not always the right thing to do.
Bravo to the fixer, who is also the drama queen lol. Glad she has helped. I hope this helps you firm up your plans somewhat.
Actually, the fixer didn’t really help. She thinks things need to happen in a certain fashion and, frankly, was trying, however well-intentioned, to manipulate me into acting to achieve her goals.
The main issue is, she wants Dad to move to assisted living. He LOATHES that idea. She wants me to help convince him of that or failing that, provide him with visits several times per week. While he would greatly enjoy that, he has said it isn’t necessary.
Yes, something could happen and he could die. But, he would die in the home he enjoys, doing things he enjoys, surrounded by his belongings and his garden. I cannot find fault in that.
