Spunky, I hate to say it, but your brother could have an advanced case of TDS. It’s got all of the markings of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
I am being completely serious. When people are so deeply attached to their hatred for Trump, all logic and reason goes out the window. TDS has sliced through many families. I am so sorry your brother caught it. If he’s always been a bit of an emotional person, I am sure my diagnosis fits.
Not much you can do, other than pray and maybe drop him the odd email just to tell him you still think about him, if you’re comfortable doing that. It’s a real thing. A sickness.
Yes I do believe he has TDS, but that only came on after Trump became a Republican. He told me one time he and his wife watched The Apprentice.
